About Me

Pieuvre commune (Octopus vulgaris)

My passions include music, art, photography, and reading. And then there's all the other stuff I love to dabble in: old fruit crate labels, old scraps of paper and advertising, all sorts of cameras, software and web design, bonsai, and cooking.

I like to play guitar. I don't know much about music, but I like it. I recently got my hands on a 1949 O-15 Martin guitar that seems to have some left over magic from some musician of the past. It plays great and it just feels right in my hands.

I've got a fondness for vinyl records. I try to make it a regular thing to visit the local record stores. My latest obsessions include the old blues of the 20's and 30's: Blind Willie McTell, Freddie Spruell, Blind Blake, Tampa Red, Lucille Bogan, Charlie Patton, Roosevelt Sykes, and Scrapper Blackwell, to name a few. I love that stuff.

Feel free to contact me if you'd like to know more.
